Occupational safety, health and environmental protection

Protection with return on investment

Occupational, health and environmental protection measures increase the productivity and thus the economic success of companies. Around 15 days of sick leave per employee and year make the high savings potential for all companies clear. Reducing absenteeism due to incapacity to work pays off for large, medium and small companies. Healthy and satisfied employees lead to lower sickness rates, decreasing wage continuation costs and higher process security. Demographic change, which is leading to an increase in the average age of employees, makes occupational health and safety indispensable instruments of successful personnel management. A large number of work-related illnesses are due to inadequate work design and work organisation. In occupational safety, health and environmental protection, we support you with a comprehensive range of services in the areas of:

Risk assessment

The Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Hazardous Substances Ordinance, the Workplace Ordinance, the Industrial Safety and Health Ordinance and other important legal regulations require the recording and assessment of significant hazards and stresses before the start of any activity. If necessary, appropriate protective measures must be planned and implemented.

Hazard factors can be of a physical, biological and chemical nature. With the changes in the world of work that have taken place in recent years, psychological factors are playing an increasingly important role.

Our team of experienced engineers, occupational psychologists and industrial sociologists will guide you through a comprehensive assessment of workplace hazards. We advise you on the derivation of company-specific measures to reduce mental stress, including the strengthening of resources. Furthermore, we accompany you in the implementation of the measures and support you in the evaluation of the success of the measures. A risk assessment that meets these requirements, taking into account occupational science findings and demographic factors, enables safe, healthy and age-appropriate work design as well as the long-term preservation of the performance of all employees beyond retirement age.
