Occupational safety specialist/ safety expert (m/f/d)

Your tasks

You advise and support managers and employees in the companies supervised by CBM in accordance with the Occupational Safety Act, draw up safety concepts and carry out project work in the field of occupational health and safety. You provide technical support in the implementation of projects at our customers and, if required, collaborate in ongoing research projects (R&D) of CBM. You will provide support to external managers and employees on topics relevant to occupational health and safety. Currently, the focus would be for a period of a good 2 years in the supervision of large construction sites (new power plant or power plant dismantling) in the Stuttgart area, where you advise the construction management and the companies involved together with the HSE manager from CBM. This usually requires a two to three week stay (Mon-Fri) on site, in the 4th week if desired return party or office work.

Your profile

You have a degree in safety engineering or an engineering specialization with further training in occupational safety, or you have a technical education (master craftsman, technician, bachelor, master) and the qualification as a specialist for occupational safety according to the Occupational Safety Act. The additional qualification safety and health protection coordinator would be good, can otherwise be acquired through CBM. It is important to you to gain further qualifications. You work independently, responsibly, structured, solution-oriented and are communicative. You have the ability to work in a team. You have a car driver’s license and the willingness to travel. You are characterized by very good written and spoken German skills. You have good Microsoft Office skills.

Thanks to the scientific connection to the RWTH Aachen University, the supervision of scientific theses on the part of CBM is possible. Within the scope of our activities for our customers, we work on a number of scientific tasks that are appropriate to the scope of a thesis. We are currently working on ongoing research projects.

Professional Training
